"Windows of Wonder" documents the voyage of Allie's Song to Desolation Sound in British Columbia in October of 2007. This musical and personal cruising video was filmed in the Gulf Islands, British Columbia and covers stops in Poet's Cove, Pender Island; Snug Harbor, Bowen Island; Pender Harbor, BC; Refuge Cove, BC; Squirrel Cove, Cortes Island; Prideaux Haven, BC; Toba Wildernest Resort, BC; Point Roberts, USA.
The voyage departed from Allie's Song's home port in Squalicum Harbor, Bellingham, Washington and sailed up Georgia Straight to the Gulf Islands. After four days, Allie's Song reached its destinations in Desolation Sound, a somewhat remote and astoundingly beautiful archipelago of inlets and islands. It is all part of the Desolation Sound Marine Provincial Park. The trip was marked by a variety of conditions: good sailing weather, currents, strong winds, calm, fog, rain, cold and sun.
