Steve is a long-time sailor and sailboat owner, U.S. Coast Guard Master's license, ocean experience (San Francisco Bay, Pacific Northwest, Pacific West coast, Mexico) and Debra is a gourmet chef on-board and on-land.

  • Sailing experience in coastal and bay waters (SF Bay, Monterrey Bay, Puget Sound, West Coast, Catalina, Mexico Pacific, Mexico Sea of Cortez)
  • Baja Ha-Ha veteran (class of 2009)
  • Experience and knowledge of vessel systems, repair and maintenance; basic engine repair/maintenance
  • Vessel, equipment, and fitting out cruising consultant for sailboat buyers and owners
  • Current Red Cross certification in Basic First Aid and CPR, SCUBA diver certification, completed Power Squadron and CG Auxiliary courses
  • Limited language proficiency in Hungarian, French and Spanish
  • Expert computer knowledge and skills

Need Crew?

In addition to professional services, we may be available for crewing (32’+ vessels). Steve is an electronics industry consultant/analyst and Debra works at as a customer service manager for a financial planning/tax firm. Both are congenial, easy-going, organized, clean, well-traveled, and non-smokers. Will help with preparations, maintenance, repairs, boat upkeep, etc. depending on situation. Available to crew on weekend or longer passages in the Pacific Northwest, Mexico, West Coast, and other regions (longer passages require advance planning and notice). Also may be available for boat sitting and open to home-sailboat exchange for short or longer term periods.  We are listed on a home exchange network.
